What is the difference between a wired and a wireless system
What is the difference between a wired and a wireless system?
A wired system adopts wire to connect all sensors to the control panel such as each door and window as well as fire and smoke detectors and motion sensors. On the other hand, a wireless system adopts no wires to connect the sensors to the control panel. Wireless fire, glass break, motion, and other types of these sensors are the key components of this type of system. Signals are transmitted and received by radio. The most benefit to a wireless system is that it is very easy to install and portable. It means that if you move, you can take that wireless system with you. Secondly, the cost is much different. The cost of wireless system is more than wired system’s. However, the installation cost for the wired system is higher than that of a wireless.
